I’ve said this quite often but it bears repeating: Puggles are as social, loving, and intelligent as any breed of dog we’ve had the pleasure of owning.

That being said, Puggles can also be very stubborn!

Taken on the whole, TuffGuy—I’ll get into the history of his name at some point—has been an absolute pleasure.

Hello Mate,

I am from london, UK. I loved your this puggle helps and advice website, I have question to ask by- I brought a 2 months old puggle puppy (fawn color) from the local cross breeder, now he is 3 months old and I was just wondering if you can tell/give your opinion about my puggle puppy grow into more like pug or beagle or general puggle in his adult hood ,the things that is very confused: his dad is pedigree pug fawn color and mom is puggle (fawn color) and also he seemed to looks like 3/4 pug and 1/4 beagle. I am send you my puggle picture if you want to see. Btw what is your tuffguy descents are? Any reply and helps will be appreciated.

Hi Prem!

Sounds like you have a Pug-Puggle. If you do, he is going to look more “Puggish” than Beagle/Puggle-like. Interestingly, and because the breed is a cross, there is a lot of genetic (phenotypic) variation…so you can never be quite sure whether the adult Puggle is going to look more like a Pug or more like a Beagle. In either case, with the proper training and love you will have yourself one heck of a great companion for a long time!

Good luck to you Prem!

Thank you sir for your reply answer, I love my dog enough though how different looking he might grown into but still it’s just one of the curious that drive me to wonder him in his adulthood growth. Thanks again and by the way I do love your helpline and guidance youtube videos, keep posting and sharing.

Prem & Rax.
